Abstract :
Climate change has become one of the most serious problems faced by all countries. Like other countries, China has launched a set of policies and activities to reduce the impact of climate change in the development of economics and society. This paper reviews the policies in China to encourage the environmental beneficial and energy-saving innovation, such as the environmental policies, the environmental tax in future. Based on archival analyses, the policies are reviewed from some aspects, for instance, the national plan, and the S&T actions. It is a system of low-carbon innovation policies in China to build a low-carbon country. In addition, the development of new energy vehicle industry is taken as a case to illustrate the implementation of incentives for climate change. Recommendations to the policies upgrading and implication are proposed at the end of paper.
