Abstract :
While scalp potentials are recorded for extracting the EEG control signals, other undesired signals (artifacts) get superimposed on the EEG. The presence of ocular artifacts could affect the performance of feature extraction by auto regressive coefficients or fast Fourier transform. As a result the subject could loose the control of the cursor movement. This paper deals with the application of some adaptive filtering methods (AF) for canceling ocular artifacts from contaminated and artifact free EEG data, as applied to a BCI
