Abstract :
Early gamma components of the auditory oddball responses were investigated using the wavelet transform (WT) and minimum variance spatial filtering (MVSF). WT was applied to single sweep oddball responses and the coefficients covering the range of the early gamma response (0-120 ms) were used to calculate the covariance matrix used in the MVSF. Different generators were found to correspond to different time-frequency components from the early gamma response
