Abstract :
A 10GHz double balanced Gilbert-cell mixer using 0.18-mum complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technology is presented in this paper. This mixer has a noise figure of 13.1 dB and conversion gain 10.3 dB at 10GHz RF frequency under the supply voltage of 1.8 V. The power consumption of this mixer is about 0.6 mW at an IF frequency of 10 MHz. The active chip area is 1.1 times 0.9 mm2.
