Abstract :
In C.-X. Wu and C. Wu (1997) the existences of supremum and infimum of a set of fuzzy numbers were proved by using levelwise method. In T.-H. Fan and G.-J. Wang (2004), we showed that the supremum and infimum can be finitely approximated via endograph metric. In this paper, we give a method to calculate supremum and infimum of fuzzy sets in a way that resembles the Riemann sum in calculus.
