Abstract :
This paper presents new results of a multilevel linguistic equation controller to maintain the outlet oil temperature in a 1 MWt solar power plant. The multilevel linguistic equation controller combines smoothly with various control strategies into a compact single controller which can be tuned in a modular way. The operation is very robust under difficult conditions: startup and set-point tracking are fast and accurate in variable radiation conditions; and the controller can handle efficiently even under multiple disturbances
