Abstract :
A new multi-polar flat transformer is proposed in this paper. The transformer is applied to a planar-type DC/DC power converter. It provides a high output of 100 W at a thickness of 4.5 mm. The power density is 20 W/in3. The high efficiency of 83.5% is achieved at full load (5 V@20 A) and nominal line (50 V)
