Abstract :
The paper presents the research work carried out in the area of design, simulation and implementation of intelligent controllers for power converters used in generator systems. The control system presented is based on fuzzy logic and is implemented using field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), providing considerable advantages over existing solutions. Modern computer aided design (CAD) tools were used. The experimental results are expected to prove the high performance of the system
