Abstract :
This paper describes methods of accurate measures of the power density of microwaves emitted by a mobile phone and the related electric and magnetic field components by using a NARDA SRM 3000 instrument. Several measures of these quantities have been carried out at some Italian locations during mobile phone working with respect to the local mobile phone provider. Time analysis of electromagnetic quantities have shown that the exposure limits to electromagnetic fields of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection are often exceeded during mobile phone use.
