Abstract :
In load forecast for distribution planning, the load density selection in terms of different land-usage area is important to capture the future loads accurately. However, the conventional load density selecting method is subjective and lack of demonstration on theory. New selecting load density method is presented using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation in this paper. It focuses on analyzing the factors that impact the selection and considers their respective weight in the impaction. The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation (FCE) theory is adopted to capture imprecise information and quality data in selection, consequently eliminate the known drawback of conventional method, allowing the high accuracy and applicability of load forecasting. To demonstrate the proposed method, a worked example is performed on a residential area in Shanghai. The quantitative results confirm the suitability and practicality of FCE techniques to the load density selection.
