Abstract :
A surface EMG signal classification method based on time-frequency representation and singular value decomposition is presented. The short-time Fourier transform and wavelet transform are employed to obtain the signals´ time-frequency representation, from which the singular value decomposition technique is used to extract features for neural network based classification
