Abstract :
Staged models for software process improvement have been extensively used by organizations. However the relationship between these models and organization wide continuous process improvement has not been studied extensively. This study aims to fill in this gap by analyzing the software process improvement activities within a software company that has CMMI level-3 certification. The process improvement suggestions submitted by the employees are analyzed from three aspects, namely the submitter, date and content characteristics. The results show the shortcomings with respect to organization wide continuous process improvement.
