Abstract :
The essence in building a DS-UWB radio lies in its capabilities to scale easily and gracefully between ultra low power consumption for mobile/handheld CE devices, and extremely high data rate for HD video streaming. Therefore, the radio must take full advantage of the unique character of a true UWB system, no Rayleigh fading. Furthermore, it takes innovative design of its signal and architecture before a DS-UWB radio can be built with the much lower complexity and yet still able to achieve the performance of BPSK
