Abstract :
The method and the performance of measuring the piston determine the quality and cost of the piston manufactured. Therefore, a simple, economic piston outside diameter auto-measuring and grouping system is presented in this paper. Based on the industrial PC104 bus structure, it can not only measure and group the pistons, but also can manage the data. Meanwhile, through the modern statistical process analysis and control technology, the quality of the manufacturing process can be analysed and controlled. The well-fitted software and mechanotronics structure enables the system to be simple and reduces the whole cost.
