Abstract :
This paper describes a new method for a high performance speed control of field oriented induction motor drive systems. An adaptive predictive control system (APCS) is used to reduce the effects of load variations and system dead-time. The algorithm used in this paper does not need knowledge of the system parameters and it has been successfully applied to other systems. Simulation and experimental results are presented to show the behavior of the proposed controller
