Abstract :
The finite spectrum problem for linear systems with delays is considered, the question under consideration is whether or not stabilizing feedback controls of finite spectrum delayed systems can be optimal for an infinite time quadratic optimal control problem. The frequency-domain optimality relation for linear time-lag systems with a quadratic performance index is given. On the basis of this relation, the frequency-domain condition for linear optimal control system with delays to have a finite spectrum is established
