Abstract :
A variable bandwidth high speed FIR filter for RFID Reader receiver is proposed. Variable bandwidth is achieved by providing different sample clock to the filter and high speed is obtained by substituting the multiplier; in the filter with segment look-up tables (LUTs) and inserting pipelines in adder´s output stage. Final result shows that the filter can vary among three bandwidth; and its output delay is only restricted to the LUTs date querying delay after output pipeline established. This filter has the merit of low hardware complexity as well
