Abstract :
A scenario for an in-vehicle intelligent decision support system (a co-pilot) is described. The co-pilot includes services such as navigation, route guidance, road-use charging and intelligent cruise control. The system´s main philosophy is to supply all relevant and desirable information from the infrastructure to the vehicle. The driver himself selects the desired RTI-service from the available set of services, instead of being influenced by an ever increasing level of control from the public authorities.
