Abstract :
Recently mobile phones provide not only voice service but Internet access, multimedia message services, games, local communication controllers and so on. Therefore, more productive software platforms are required. We have developed the next generation software platform based on Linux for mobile phones. We describe requirements for mobile phone Linux and solution candidate technologies to satisfy the requirements based on the development experience.
