Abstract :
Free trade agreements signed and under negotiation between Colombia and the countries of North and Central America, aimed at reducing and eliminating barriers to free movement of professionals to develop businesses that generate profits for each of the parties, this requires the security professional meets minimum requirements in line with international standards. The recognition of certifications, licenses among countries with respect to education and professional experience, standards of conduct and professional ethics is essential to ensure free mobility. This paper aims to develop the document review to unify criteria for certification and recertification of engineering and the impact of the free trade agreements concluded between Colombia, United States, Canada, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras.
