Abstract :
This paper designs a SRD-based comb generator with coplanar waveguide input and slot line output, for the use of phase reference and calibrator of mixer-based NVNAs. With a calibrated sampling oscilloscope, the precise characterization procedure of this comb generator is presented. The magnitude and phase repeatability of this comb generator is given through repetitive measurements, along with their stability around the rated drive power.
