  • Abstract
    The accurate and rapid detection of power cable fault point in underground coal mine has attract attention of related technicians, and it´s also a urgent problem which needs to be studied and resolved. The authors designed power cable fault detection circuits by using bridge method. This paper presented the circuit diagram, which can quickly and accurately detect fault points of single-phase open circuit, two-phase short-circuit, single-phase grounding. To verify the accuracy of cable fault points detection circuit, the authors tested the fault points detection for typical two-phase short-circuit. In this paper, the experimental data and conclusions are given, and finally the error of short-circuit fault detection circuit is analyzed.
