Abstract :
An intelligent automatic leveling control system for asphalt pavers based on ultrasonic distance measuring technology is designed, high measuring accuracy is obtained by real time ultrasonic speed compensation. The PWM control technique is adopted for the system, which automatically changes the adjusting speed of the hydraulic cylinder according to the road elevation deviation in order to eliminate the deviation quickly. The system controller can automatically identify the authenticity of the measured data, thus human factor influences on the constructing road surface smoothness may be eliminated. This paper introduces the control system principle and the realization method of the system microcomputer hardware and software.
