The certificate of ISO 9001 toward improving the quality of small/medium industries in Iran

Nowadays the usage of modern techniques of management has become an important necessity for economical and industrial units. Quality management as the most important and comprehensive method can assist the systems in providing products and services with better quality and fewer expenses. So as the result the necessity of standard application has become appeared so important by industries. Today the importance of the quality orientation and its position has been a dominated vision in most organizations and their communications. Quality management has been founded as a necessity toward the organization´s survive and its existance. There has been a significant growth for applying the quality management system because of auditing process and issuing its related certificates. This study is chasing to configure the benefits and advantages of ISO 9001 standard certificate and its important roles in the organization´s performance. In this study 120 small - medium enterprises (SMEs) in Isfahan have been selected as the society sample through the descriptive method. The data analysis declared that there is a positive significant relationship for applying the certificate of ISO 9001 and some factories as the organizational performance in organizations, organizational benefits, TQC.
