Abstract
Measurements of the partial discharges (PD), even with very good control of the measurement techniques and the basic dimensions measurements, still cause problems especially during the diagnostic measurements interpretation. This paper describes the matters concerning the PD-analysis through the fixing of the phase-resolved charges patterns and (in new work) of the registered pulses energy. Results for measurements of thermosetting insulation of electrical machines are presented
