Abstract :
The leaf spring is an important component of the mechanical torsion for the actuator loading, which can bearing heavier torques. The principle of the leaf spring torsion loading is analyzed, and the relationship which was adapted for small deformation between the torque and the angle degree is modified and tested because of the large deformation. The theoretical analysis and the experiment result both indicate that the relationship between the torque to the leaf spring and the angle degree of the leaf spring is not a strict linear relationship but including some high-order terms, so it has some nonlinear behavior. As one example, to compare the linear fit and three-order fitting, results show that the error of linear fitting which on behalf of the equation before is much larger than that of three-order fitting, which means the result of the theoretical analysis is right. So, in order to promote the precision of loading to the actuator, the higher order curve of the torsion angle should be based when it is loaded by the leaf spring.
