Abstract :
The limiting crossed magnetic fields in Townsend discharges of Ar+SF6 binary mixtures are evaluated together with pulsed-Townsend mean energies and electron drift velocities along the applied electric field direction. The results are presented in the E/N range of 200 Td-600 Td with SF6 content in the mixture varying from 1% to 75% for the corresponding limiting magnetic field
