Abstract :
Recent interests in large displays has led to the rapid development of multi-projector tiled display wall systems, which comprise of an array of individual projectors, and usually driven by a cluster of PCs. However, color match algorithms in existence are either dependent to such expensive optical devices as a spectroradiometer or much samples consuming. In this paper we describe a parameter estimation algorithm to calculate the intensity transfer function (ITF) and present a statistic-based algorithm to implement visual-allowance seamless tiled display wall. In order to examine the feasibility and utility of our approaches, we have implemented the new algorithms on a 3x5 display wall with rear-projection mode.
