Abstract
Measuring the impact of transmission errors on the subjective quality of video experience is an important task for the development of objective video quality metrics. For the purpose of quality assurance of mobile receivers for digital terrestrial television, temporally continous subjective quality scores shall be retrieved. We describe the procedure and analysis of an appropriate subjective quality assessment experiment using the SSCQE method with videos distorted by packet losses. We show that the retrieved results can be approximated with a framewise error indicator.
