Abstract :
The paper primarily discusses the design and implementation of a pipeline Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) monitoring system based upon the virtual instrument techniques. Starting from the introduction of the monitoring system development requirements and environment, the paper describes its hardware configuration and software functionalities in details. Practical application has demonstrated that the virtual instrument-based structure is very effective and the obtained monitoring system is highly flexible
