Abstract :
Cascading failure is one of the main causes of blackouts. The authors proposed a new set of cascading failure evaluation, in order to reflect the different random combination of factors set off the possibility and spread speed of cascading failures, and focus on how evaluate and classify data samples to achieve the sample data screening by separate indexes. Using a multi-objective analysis method, evaluating the data samples first, and then adopting FCM (Fuzzy C-means) algorithm to classify sample data with separate and comprehensive index as an input. Finally, an example in IEEE39 system proves that the evaluation method is reasonable.
