Abstract :
On the basis of the dynamic traffic network equilibrium model under open-loop information structure presented by Byung-Wook Wie, this paper formulates a non-cooperative N-person nonzero-sum differential game model under close-loop information structure. It also takes into account the network with multiple origin-destination pairs and interaction between two types of players, namely, user equilibrium and cournot-nash in congestion phenomenon. This paper proposes a new simulation algorithm based on Genetic algorithm to solve the differential game model in discrete time. The results derived from the numerical example presented are compared with those obtained from the model under open-loop information structure. Also, it makes comparison between the performance indexes of the above-mentioned two models when the objective function reached optimum value. The improved model helps users obtain flow information in real-time. Consequently, the paper concludes that the performance index of the model under close-loop information structure is greatly improved. Furthermore, the problems existing in the model under open-loop information structure are resolved.
