Abstract :
A microcomputer-based echocardiagram interpretation, measurement, storage, and report generation system which substantially reduces user movements and thereby improves ergonomic efficiency is described. When compared to a popular commercial system, total keystrokes are reduced by 55%, and movements between the digitizing device and keyboard are reduced by 85%. The system is particularly efficient when annotating descriptive text
