  • Abstract
This paper presents an extensive review into the impact of digital technology in children´s learning process in homes. In the 21st century growing attention is being paid to children´s learning through their use of digital technologies both in home and school, and how this can be used to enhance their learning process. In homes, children and parents are engaging in cultural practices involving home objects such as furnishings, photographs, decorations, etc. These practices can also involve activities such as foodmaking, children´s digital game-playing, using computers, watching TV, dancing, videoing etc. Many researchers investigated and demonstrated the needs of recognising these practices in homes to enhance the children´s learning attainment. This study presents a review on reported research for children´s learning process through their use of digital technologies at home, particularly for the British born South Asian children. Finally, the review outcomes have been summarised in a circular learning model to demonstrate the impact and opportunity to enhance the children´s learning process for their educational attainment.
