Abstract :
With the rapid development of super-skyscrapers, the elevator driven by permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) is one type of rope-less elevator and is more feasible among the rope-less elevators for actual in the near future. But the edge effect of permanent magnet linear motor results in the vibration of elevator cab. And the high air gaps between primary windings and second windings make the whole system low efficiency. This paper proposed a novel fuzzy- adaptive-PID control method. And this method is applied to rope-less permanent magnet linear synchronous motor for elevator. The fuzzy-adaptive-PID control method combines the advantage of the adaptive control and fuzzy-PID control. The simulations show that system response is better than the system response only with PID controller. So the elevator cab will become more comfortable and suitable for people.
