Abstract :
The high-frequency losses in a planar inductor structure are investigated. Theoretical calculations, by finite element method, and experimental thermal measurements are applied to investigate the dependence of the losses on material parameters that are a function of temperature. The effects of temperature dependent conductivity and permeability are investigated
