  • Abstract
    The possibility of looperless rolling in the finishing mill of a hot rolling process is shown. It is clear that the performance of a control system with the compensator designed by μ synthesis considering parameter perturbation is better than that with the compensator designed by H. In order to realize looperless rolling, we must consider the effect of noise of the measured variable and the way to reduce the order of compensator
