Abstract :
We report the selective amplification of a phase-stabilized optical frequency comb (OFC) by using an anti-reflect (AR) coated diode laser. We achieved the amplification factor of 10 dB around 852-nm wavelength with a bandwidth of 1.5 nm when the injected power of OFC is 1 mW. We investigated the effect of a spectral band-pass filter on the amplification of an OFC. As a practical application of the amplified comb, remote absolute frequency measurement of the cesium D2 line by transfer of amplified OFC through an optical fiber network was demonstrated.
