Abstract
The linear constrained regulation problem (LCRP) for discrete-time systems is investigated. Using linear transformations and linear programming techniques, an iterative approach for the design of linear constrained regulators is established. This approach can give a solution to the LCRP in the case where the linear programming method fails. It also makes it possible to obtain faster convergence in the case where a solution can be obtained by applying other design methods
