Abstract :
This paper addresses the problem of stabilizing a second-order system using a sliding-mode controller by means of state feedback when the measurement of the state is quantized. Some inherent dynamical properties for the quantized SMC systems are studied. The concept of `step pseudo-sliding-mode´ is proposed. Simulations are presented to verify the theoretical results.
