Abstract :
In this paper, the design of a low cost reflectometer, which provides operation over an ultra wide frequency band from 3.1 to 10.6 GHz, has been presented. The device is fully integrated and uses five couplers and one power divider in microstrip-slot technology. The design has been accomplished with the use of commercially available full-wave CAD package, CST Microwave Studio. The designed device has been manufactured and experimentally tested. Its UWB operation has been confirmed by measurements.
