Abstract :
An approach for rebuilding body of revolution´s curved surface from CCD image is presented in this paper. This approach makes use of the characteristics of the process of CCD imaging for body of revolution and the geometric traits of the body of revolution to suppose a dimensional plane and rebuild it. And based on which, rebuild the body of revolution´s curved surface. This approach is different from other methods of 3D reconstruction. It solves the problems producing in the process of characteristic points extraction and matching and enhances the reconstructive precision. Thus, this approach can adapt to the vision measurement.
