Abstract :
In this paper, one novel circuit model and design method for miniature LTCC UWB bandpass filter was presented. The filter prototype is simply composed by several semi-lumped elements (transmission lines and capacitors) for easy fabrication in LTCC process with size of 3.2 times 2.5 times1.0mm3 and half-circuit impedance matching synthesis was proposed for transmission zeros and reflecting poles study. The measurement of proposed filter agreed with the EM simulation as expected and behaves an ultra wider 3dB bandwidth range from 3.1~9.6GHz with the insertion loss less than 1.5dB cross centre band and 20dB minimum of out-band rejection.
