Abstract :
In this work, a multiple-resonance microstrip ring resonator with asymmetrically-loaded stubs has been proposed and investigated. Based on transmission line theory, a single multiple-resonance ring resonator with asymmetrically-loaded stubs is analyzed. Two extra transmission zeros have been observed and utilized to improve the stopband performance. Simulated results are well confirmed by the measurement and show the widened and deepened upper stopband, as well as a sharpened cut-off skirt.
