Abstract :
Welcome to DCCS 2010 in Chicago! We are increasingly trusting computing systems to provide the desired services on spite of any encountered perturbation - be it an operational perturbation or a deliberate/malicious breach. Dependability and security are the core theme of DCCS. This includes the key facets of dependability and security in all their dimensions of analysis, design, implementation, and validation and across architectures, models and protocols. The technical program of DCCS´10 provides a great window on the state of the art and practice in this key and ever expanding area of computing technologies
