Abstract :
The photogrammetric utility of an 800 ppi (/spl sim/32 /spl mu/m pixels) Agfa Studio Scan II si flat bed colour scanner was examined by dimensional calibration and the use of an affine transformation computer model. Distortions in the image coordinates were found from directly scanning a glass calibration grid-plate. Linear and non-linear distortions produced absolute deviations of no greater than 0.60% from the object coordinates.
