Abstract
In this paper, a new retarded PEEC model is proposed. The model uses current controlled current sources to account for magnetic field coupling between current cells instead of current controlled voltage sources in traditional retarded PEEC model. The computation saving is tremendous, since the L matrix is excessively large and dense for PEEC. A numerical example is given to show the validity of the proposed model. Future work that applies the new model in reconfigurable antenna system design is under way.
