Abstract
A new meandered V-sickle slotted ground structure has been proposed in this paper. By utilizing this slotted ground structure, we propose a novel third-order bandstop filter and a new ultrawideband pulse shaper. Accroding to the measurements, the proposed designs feature more compact sizes, and demonstrate excellent signal suppression capability at the targeted rejection band. The pulse shaper may find applications in various impulse-radio-based ultrawideband systems.
