Abstract :
Based on the distinct characteristics of ubiquitous resources, strong heterogeneity, high dynamism, and mobility in any time, this dissertation develops a model of active resource space, which is capable of providing three layers of adaptation in device, task, and user. This model is able to provide seamless adaptive ubiquitous resource management across different layers.
