Abstract
In this paper, a new voltage-mode Kerwin-Huelsman-Newcomb (KHN) biquadratic filter is proposed. The proposed circuit employs three differential voltage current feedback amplifiers (DVCFA) as active elements together with two capacitors and two MOS transistors. The circuit simultaneously provides the three basic filter functions, namely band-pass (BP), high-pass (HP) and low-pass (LP) functions. The output signals are obtained at low output impedance ports, which is important for easy cascading in voltage-mode operation. SPICE simulation results are given to verify the theoretical analysis.
